On May 1, NYU Stern hosted Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, CEO and President of Gemini, respectively, for a fireside chat as part of the “Digital Currency, Blockchains and the Future of the Financial Services Industry” course co-taught by NYU Stern Professor David Yermack and NYU Law Professors Geoffrey Miller and Max Raskin.

The trio covered a range of topics, including opportunities and challenges facing Gemini, a licensed digital asset exchange and custodian, the current state of the cryptocurrency industry and the future of bitcoin as an alternative investment.

Following the moderated discussion, Stern MBA students and NYU Law students had the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session with the Winklevoss brothers.
